The department of Mechanical engineering in Guru Nanak Institute Of Technology, Dalewal; has been recoganised for its high quality education over the last 15 years. The course is approved by Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT), Chandigarh.The course aims at developing practical & theoretical knowledge & skills in different subjects of mechanical engineering and it also includes basics of other branches like electrical engineering, electronic engineering and computer engineering, it enables students to cope up with current challanges and latest trends. The department has matured to be a Centre of Excellence to enhance the understanding of basic principles of mechanical engineering.
