Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Department excels in serving students and industry through excellence in education, discovery, and the application of engineering and applied sciences. It is a fundamental and traditional course of engineering offered since 2004 in this institute. The Department firmly believes that once students have understood the basic concepts of different subjects thoroughly and have received proper practical training in the laboratories, they are well-prepared to be placed in any reputed organization as Electrical Engineers. The Department is well-equipped with various laboratories and has highly qualified and experienced staff. Presently, the intake for the course is 60 students. The duration of the course is three years, with each year comprised of two semesters. At the end of each semester, examinations are conducted by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh. A six-week practical internship is to be undertaken by the students at leading companies and organizations at the end of the fourth semester.
